Q: How much does the program cost?
A: Tuition is $3,995 – but only if you have to pay for it. Many trucking companies offer tuition reimbursement and will re-pay your full tuition on a monthly basis.
Q: How long does the program last?
A: Our day class is just four weeks, 8am-6pm Mondays through Thursdays. The night program is slightly longer at five weeks, 5:30-11:30pm Mondays through Fridays. We also offer a weekend class that runs 14 weeks from 7am-5:30pm either Saturdays or Sundays (but not both).
Q: Do you help me get a job?
A: Yes! We have lifetime job placement assistance. The help we give you in that search for employment begins the very first week of your class. More than 90 percent of our graduates go directly to work in the trucking industry – at least 75 percent have a job lined up before graduation!
Q: What kind of money will I make as a driver?
A: First-year, fresh-out-of-school drivers often make an average of $32-$38K annually. After one year’s experience, expect to make $45-$50K … and the pay just keeps going up from there.
Q: Will I get a local job?
A: Eventually, but in this economic downturn, be prepared to drive regionally or over the road for at least nine months in order to secure the experience you’ll need to win local positions.
Q: How long should I expect to be away from home?
A: Regional drivers usually return home at least once a week. Over-the-road drivers are out for longer periods, depending upon their company’s needs and loads.
